WULS-SGGW is innovative in generating job prospects
The certification programs of the Academic Information Centre are very popular among Polish universities. They are also a well- recognized mark of quality in higher education among the generations of high school graduates. The aim of the competition "The Most innovative and creative University in Poland in generating job prospects" is to assess the level to which new technologies supporting the learning process are used, as well as to get acquainted with the innovative activities implemented in the higher education sector.
The Warsaw University of Life Sciences is among the laureates of the competition that have gathered most points in all the assessed areas. The unviersity has received high marks i.a. for:
- activities that improve the quality of education within the Internal System of Providing and Improving the Quality of Education,
- implementing numerous projects aiming at connecting the curricula with the needs of the job market to a larger extent, including the creation of the new study program: furniture studies at a special request of employers,
- extensive use of new technologies in teaching, i.a. through launching study programs supported by e-learning,
- increasing the opportunities for students and graduates on the job market by organizing regular job fairs "The Dream Employer".
The winners of the contest "Most innovative and creative university in Poland in generating job prospects", next to WULS-SGGW are also: Gdańsk University of Technology, Technical University of Łódź, Łódź University, International University of Logistics and Transport in Wrocław and University of Economics and Innovation in Lublin.
The WULS-SGGW has also been granted the certificate "Good University - Good Work". The certification program "Good University - Good Work," is addressed to all universities in Poland (both public and private ones). Its aim is to popularize and distinguish good practice in the higher education sector for innovative and creative actions that develop job prospects. Nowadays, many Polish universities deserve such distinction as they realize a number of activities that increase the attractiveness of graduates in the job market. It is unquestionable that it is the practical aspect of education and proper preparation of students for work that begins to dominate in thinking and approach to the organization of studies in Poland.
